Can You ID This Person?

WRPS are looking for anyone who can help identify the pictured male. The male is sought in connection with the fatal hit and run in Cambridge on November 26. If he looks familiar please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS and remain anonymous.

Incident: On November 26, 2016 at 6 p.m., a 49-year-old Cambridge man was walking south bound across Cedar Street when he was struck by a full-sized, white Ford pick-up truck. The pedestrian was then hit by another vehicle that was traveling east along Cedar Street and was in the left turn lane attempting to enter the Westgate Plaza, located at 130 Cedar Street. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by the Regional Coroner. The white Ford pick-up truck failed to remain at the scene and was last observed traveling west along Cedar Street. The vehicle is described as a white Ford F-250 super duty pick-up truck with a white cap on the back. The truck will have damage to the drivers side grill, lights and mirror. Any witnesses to this incident or anyone with information is asked to call Waterloo Regional Police Services Traffic Services Unit at 519-653-7700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Location: LANGS DR, CAMBRIDGE, ON Canada
On Friday, September 9, 2016 at approximately 11:30 p.m., a 20 year old Cambridge woman was assaulted by an unknown male while walking on Langs Drive in Cambridge. The suspect approached her from behind and pulled her to the ground. The victim was able to get away from the suspect and witnesses in the area came to her assistance. The suspect fled the area on foot. The victim was transported to hospital and treated for minor physical injuries sustained to her face.
The suspect is described as a white male (possibly darker skin), partially bald/partially shaved head, round face, 55 – 5’10", muscular/stocky build, 32-36 years of age. He was wearing shorts and a blue sleeveless shirt. Waterloo Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident and are requesting the assistance from the public.
